A STAR of an axed Netflix show has given fans hope that the series WILL return no matter what in a new update. <\/p>\n

The dystopian thriller had been cancelled in January after filming had wrapped. <\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

But now it looks like the final instalment of Snowpiercer\u00a0could be returning to screens, according to one of it's actors. <\/p>\n

Sam Roche actor Mike O'Malley has pledged fans will be able to watch the finished fourth and final season "somewhere".<\/p>\n

The actor admitted he's still 'trying to get an answer' on Season 4's release date, but assured: "But that entire fourth season is in the can and that\u2019s going to end up somewhere."<\/p>\n

When asked if season four will be the final, he said to TV Line: "We were actually hoping that we\u2019d keep going, but I think there\u2019s an ending to that where it could be the end, and it\u2019s very hopeful\u2026<\/p>\n

Snowpiercer was already scheduled to end with its fourth season, and filming had already wrapped on the production for the final time.<\/p>\n

When the show got axed, a network spokesperson said: \u2018We can confirm that TNT will not air season four of Snowpiercer.<\/p>\n

\u2018This was a difficult decision, but our admiration for the talented writers, actors and crew who brought Snowpiercer\u2019s extraordinary post-apocalyptic world to life remains strong.\u2019<\/p>\n

The series is based on the 2013 film of the same name which was directed by Parasite\u2019s Bong Joon-ho, which was in turn based on the 1982 French graphic novel Le Transperceneige.<\/p>\n

It follows passengers on the Snowpiercer, a gigantic train that circles the globe carrying the remnants of humanity seven years after the world becomes a frozen wasteland.<\/p>\n
