Puzzled shoppers find Mini Eggs and Creme Eggs on shelves in B&amp;M and other stores BEFORE Christmas<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span>Is Easter chocolate being sold in a shop near YOU?<\/span> Email katherine.lawton@mailonline.co.uk\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Easter chocolate is already being sold in food shops across the country with nearly a week to go before Christmas, according to puzzled shoppers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Photographs show Easter displays and whole bays filled with Creme Eggs and Mini Eggs inside stores, with some claiming the chocolates have been available to purchase for weeks.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It comes as supermarkets and grocery stores are also packed with mince pies, selection boxes and other festive-themed treats with just days to go before Christmas.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span><span>Is Easter chocolate being sold in a shop near YOU?<\/span><\/span><span> Email katherine.lawton@mailonline.co.uk\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>One confused shopper, who saw the Easter treats in her local Morrisons in Farrington, told MailOnline:\u00a0&#8216;I just thought I was seeing things [&#8230;] previously they&#8217;ve been out on Boxing Day which is still madness but before Christmas.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/20\/08\/79163429-12884725-image-a-1_1703062749738.jpg\" height=\"845\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>One shopper shared a photo of a whole bay of Easter treats already being sold in\u00a0B&amp;M in Ashford, Kent<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/20\/08\/79163433-12884725-image-a-2_1703062760862.jpg\" height=\"845\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Another shopper showed Easter chocolates available to buy in\u00a0Middlemore Stores &amp; Post Office in Daventry<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Give it a few years and they will be selling Christmas, Valentines, Easter, Back to School and Halloween all year round.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Another shopper said: &#8216;All shops in Congleton, Cheshire are selling Easter chocolate, mainly Creme Eggs, can&#8217;t even buy a Malteser reindeer, they are all Malteser bunnies!!!&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A third said: &#8216;My B&amp;M in Stevenage is selling Easter chocolates. I had to do a double take. I don&#8217;t celebrate Christmas but still thought it was bizarre to sell Easter chocolates already.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Images show multiple boxes of Creme Eggs and Mini Eggs being sold among other chocolates in the sweet isles.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One shopper told MailOnline: &#8216;I took the following picture the other day when I went to Middlemore shop and post office in Daventry. I couldn&#8217;t believe how much Easter chocolate was out. I must admit I was tempted to buy some mini eggs.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Another said: &#8216;Gordale on the Chester High Road, Wirral, have been selling Creme Eggs &amp; Mini Eggs for about two weeks, it&#8217;s bananas.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/20\/09\/79163523-12884725-A_food_shop_in_London_is_already_selling_Easter_chocolate_to_cus-m-20_1703063906498.jpg\" height=\"784\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>A food shop in London is already selling Easter chocolate to customers with still more than a week to go before Christmas<\/p>\n<p>A third wrote: &#8216;I took this photo in B&amp;M in Ashford, Kent today\u2026 A whole bay of Easter eggs and chocolate bars.. Unreal!&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for B&amp;M said: &#8216;Yes, you heard right &#8211; everyone&#8217;s favourite bargain store has a decadent range of Easter chocolate now available to buy in store. We&#8217;re not yolking \u2013 and they&#8217;re proving incredibly popular with customers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The winter period is a notoriously long and dark time of the year, so to help banish those blues and help customers stay sunny side up, B&amp;M have released an egg-citing selection of chocolate treats early.
