STRICTLY star Zara McDermott has sparked concern after sharing a snap of herself in a hospital bed.<\/p>\n

The Love Island legend revealed she had been admitted for a mystery procedure.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

Zara, 27, posted a picture to her instagram stories in pink pyjamas sat in a hospital bed with a cannula in her arm and a ID wristband around her arm.<\/p>\n

"Had a little procedure done yesterday!" she wrote cryptically. "Now ready for a super chilled Xmas."<\/p>\n

She did not reveal what the surgery was but her admission to hospital came two days after she returned to the Strictly dance floor for the show's final on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Zara shared an emotional message on her social media, bidding farewell to the show and reflecting on how it had changed her.<\/p>\n

She wrote: "My Strictly journey has been one of the most life changing experiences. Some of the things I\u2019ve learnt:
I can achieve anything I put my mind to. I dreamt of dancing on Strictly since I was a little girl, and I did it. I dreamed it so much that it actually came true.<\/p>\n

"Experiences are all about the people you meet along the way. I met so many incredible people, but my experience wouldn\u2019t have been what it was without my partner @grazianodiprima."<\/p>\n

Zara added that the experience had taught her that "nerves are normal" and "there is no better feeling than making your family proud."<\/p>\n

She concluded: "Life is all about pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. It\u2019s ok to not be perfect at everything; giving something a go is more important than being the best. And hey\u2026 I found a new hobby along the way.<\/p>\n

Zara also celebrated her birthday last week, as well as being reunited with her I'm A Celebrity winner boyfriend Sam Thompson who returned from Australia.<\/p>\n
