PRESIDENT Joe Biden has hit back at House Republicans who filed a bombshell impeachment inquiry vote after digging into his business dealings.

His fiery statement came after his controversy-ridden son Hunter, 53, defied a subpoena asking for a private questioning with a rare public statement.

On Wednesday, both President Joe Biden and Hunter slammed the GOP leaders in a rare public showing of camaraderie.

They've been under scrutiny by Republicans like Representative James Comer who issued a subpoena against them last month.

Republicans have been investigating the Bidens' business dealings for the past year, focusing on their relations with international partners.

On Wednesday, the GOP filed an impeachment inquiry vote after a closed-door hearing.

Biden took to social media to hit back at the vote by listing a slew of world issues that he's working on in the White House and blasted Republicans for not looking at the bigger picture.

"I wake up every day focused on the issues facing the American people," Biden's office said in a statement.

"Unfortunately, House Republicans are not joining me.

"Instead of doing their job on the urgent work that needs to be done, they are choosing to waste their time on this baseless political stunt that even Republicans in Congress admit is not supported by facts."

I'm here."

The entire House Republican conference voted to move forward with the impeachment process despite fears over a lack of evidence.

This authorization means the inquiry over the Bidens' business dealings will last well into 2024 and could be a highlight as the incumbent seeks reelection.

Newly elected Speaker of the House Mike Johnson issued a statement after the vote and said: "We do not take this responsibility lightly and will not prejudice the investigation's outcome.

He continued: "But the evidentiary record is impossible to ignore."

House Democrats, meanwhile, have stood strong in their support of President Biden and have slammed the inquiry as a distraction.

"This whole thing is an extreme political stunt," Rep. Jim McGovern, D-Mass, said during a floor debate.

"It has no credibility, no legitimacy, and no integrity. It is a sideshow."

Republicans claim the Biden family has engaged in a pattern of "influence peddling" that spans back to Barack Obama's presidency.

The House Oversight Committee "uncovered a mountain of evidence" that shows President Biden abused his power and lied about Hunter's private business dealings, Comer claimed.

Hunter stands accused of spending millions of dollars on an extravagant lifestyle rather than paying his tax bills.

His latest indictment, handed down in Hunter's home state of California, claims he splashed out on drugs, escorts and girlfriends, luxury hotels, exotic cars, and clothing.

“In short, everything but his taxes,” prosecutor Leo Wise wrote.

More than $683,000 in payments were made to "various women" over the three-year period, the indictment alleges.

Another nearly $400,000 was spent on clothing and accessories and $189,000 went toward "adult entertainment," according to the charging documents.

On Wednesday, Hunter addressed the shady docs, saying "Let me state as clearly as I can: my father was not financially involved in my business.

"Not as a practicing lawyer, not as a board member of Buisma, not in my partnership with a Chinese private businessman, not in my investments at home nor abroad, and certainly not as an artist."

Hunter was also indicted by Weiss in September on three charges related to him purchasing a gun at a shop in Delaware in 2018 when prosecutors said he was an illegal drug user.

He has pleaded not guilty in the gun possession and false statements case.

Gaynor Lord seen smiling on CCTV as mum leaves work just hours before vanishing
