Email pictures to <span>megan.howe@mailonline.co.uk<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From fondue gravy, to no gravy at all, overcooked meat and a singular Brussels sprout, Brits have been sharing the worst examples they&#8217;ve seen of the classic roast dinner.<\/p>\n<p>With the meal at the forefront of many minds in the build-up to Christmas, hopes of fluffy roast potatoes and deliciously sweet carrots are naturally high.<\/p>\n<p>So there has been understandable anger from diners up and down the country who have sat down to enjoy a meal only to find it falling short of expectations.<\/p>\n<p>Among those to take to social media was\u00a0Young MasterChef judge Poppy O&#8217;Toole, who shared a photo of her friend&#8217;s Christmas party dinner &#8211; and was left unimpressed by a \u00a360 per head Christmas party dinner in London.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/08\/14\/78738155-0-image-a-66_1702044533375.jpg\" height=\"1127\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Pictured:\u00a0Poppy O&#8217;Toole shared the picture of her friend&#8217;s Christmas party dinner on social media platform &#8216;X&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>She wrote in a post: &#8216;My friend just sent me a photo of her \u00a360 per head Christmas party dinner in London and I&#8217;m sorry but how do we sue.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The rather small roast dinner was pictured without gravy, three roast potatoes and a singular sprout.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>READ MORE: Secrets of the ultimate roast potato: TOM PARKER BOWLES\u00a0 reveals how top chefs Nigella Lawson and Jamie Oliver make theirs<\/h3>\n<p>People took to the comments to criticise the meal, with one person saying, &#8216;One sprout and no gravy? That&#8217;s a crime against roast dinners! (and I don&#8217;t particularly like sprouts!) There are better places to eat in London!&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Another person joked: &#8216;Looks like those pigs in blankets were cooked on a warm breeze.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, a Camden cocktail bar has been mocked for its gravy fondue, which costs \u00a318 per person, or \u00a325 for unlimited portions.<\/p>\n<p>The Lucky Club&#8217;s gravy fondue was launched on November 19 and has since gone viral on social media, with some people claiming it&#8217;s their idea of heaven.<\/p>\n<p>But others are not so convinced, with people claiming it to be a &#8216;deconstructed roast&#8217; and &#8216;criminal&#8217; not to have roast potatoes as part of the offering.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;This made me incandescent with rage,&#8217; one person said. &#8216;Absolute sacrilege.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Plain, boiled cauliflower. New potatoes. Everything going cold separated like that????
