HOPING to spoil the new baby of the house, a grandmother went all out when buying her grandson\u2019s Christmas presents.<\/p>\n

The heaping pile of goodies, however, wasn\u2019t well-received by the internet.<\/p>\n

In a TikTok video, boy mom Michi James (@mjbex) recounted her son\u2019s first Christmas on earth.<\/p>\n

And while her whole family seemed to be excited about the milestone, many viewers thought their parenting approach wasn\u2019t the best.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnly grandchild\u2019s first Christmas,\u201d Michi began.<\/p>\n

She filmed her newborn wearing a festive onesie that read, \u201cWho needs Santa? I have Nanna,\u201d likely referring to his grandmother.<\/p>\n

The camera then panned to a massive pile of toys, clothes, books, and accessories laying on the floor beside him.<\/p>\n

There were cardigans, shorts, stuffed animals, books about trucks and dinosaurs, pajamas, and puzzles.<\/p>\n

Although Michi lovingly captioned the clip with a #spoiled hashtag, some viewers didn\u2019t think that huge haul was a good thing.<\/p>\n

\u201cSorry I don't want to be a negative Nancy and I mean no offense by this, but this is ridiculous. He is a baby and will never remember all of these things,\u201d one person wrote.<\/p>\n

Others, however, encouraged her holiday spirit.<\/p>\n

\u201cLife is full of opportunities for everyone!! And it's your choice at the end of the day. Spoil your loved ones. Your money, your life. Love this,\u201d one person noted.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re doing a great job and so is his grandmother. Ignore anyone who says otherwise and don\u2019t ever apologize again for treating your own family the way you want to,\u201d another reiterated.<\/p>\n
