baby son to death with a pair of scissors has been jailed for three years by judges in Russia.<\/p>\n<p>Judges in Moscow heard how the healthy boy had been stabbed 44 times just moments after his birth.<\/p>\n<p>The 25-year-old, not named in local media, carried out the brutal slaying on a Lastochka intercity electric train, widely used across Russia.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Local media reported that the baby&#8217;s body was found between Andronovka Station and\u00a0Nizhegorodskaya Station, both of which lie in the west of Moscow.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>An investigation revealed she stuffed &#8216;a bundle of paper&#8217; into the baby&#8217;s mouth &#8216;which prevented his free breathing.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/06\/09\/78635411-12831553-image-a-103_1701855437074.jpg\" height=\"984\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The 25-year-old, not named in local media, (pictured) src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/06\/09\/78635413-12831553-Local_media_reported_that_the_baby_s_body_was_found_between_Andr-m-105_1701855463334.jpg\" height=\"740\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Local media reported that the baby&#8217;s body was found between Andronovka Station and Nizhegorodskaya Station, both of which lie in the west of Moscow<\/p>\n<p>The footage shows the mother telling the police how she carried out the killing.<\/p>\n<p>Further footage shows her in Moscow&#8217;s Lefortovo Court during her trial.<\/p>\n<p>She was found guilty of murdering her newborn boy eight months ago, in April.<\/p>\n<p>Judges said they were taking into account the mother&#8217;s emotional state when they sentenced her to three years behind bars.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors said the judges were &#8216;taking into account the gravity of the crime committed, as well as the personality of the defendant&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Forensic medics told the court that the baby had been born perfectly healthy but died after he was stabbed 44 times.<\/p>\n<p>The Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor&#8217;s Office said in a statement on 1st December: &#8216;The Lefortovo District Court of Moscow sentenced a woman for killing a newborn on an electric train.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;She was found guilty of committing a crime under Art. 106 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder of a newborn child by a mother).<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The court found that the 25-year-old woman, being pregnant, while in an electric train travelling along the Moscow Central Circle, independently gave birth to a viable child.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Deciding to kill the newborn, she stabbed him 44 times.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Taking into account the gravity of the crime committed, as well as the personality of the defendant, the court sentenced her to imprisonment for a period of three years to be served in a general regime colony.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The state prosecution in the case was supported by the Assistant Southwestern Transportation Prosecutor.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Source: <a
