STRICTLY viewers are convinced there is a ballroom 'feud' and claim Shirley Ballas 'hates' a show favourite.<\/p>\n

The 63-year-old diverged from the popular opinion, and the votes of the other judges, by choosing to eliminate the contestant who was least expected to leave Strictly.<\/p>\n

Last night,\u00a0Layton Williams, 29, and Angela Scanlon, 39, had a dance-off after they both landed in the bottom following the judges\u2019 scores and a public vote.<\/p>\n

Angela and her dance partner, Carlos, were sent home as the judges voted three to one in favor of saving Layton and Nikita. <\/p>\n

Shirley was the sole judge choosing to support Angela and Carlos.<\/p>\n

One fan took to X\/Twitter and wrote: "Shirley's vote would have been for Angela & Carlos, her dance was wonderful In my opinion, but I think Layton was just a bit better."<\/p>\n

A fourth fan wrote: "Don't get me wrong I love Angela & Carlos but there's no way she was better than Layton. How can Shirley say she would've saved Angela when she made a mistake??"<\/p>\n

A fifth fan echoed: "Shirley! What is her bloody issue with Layton?? Like be real why would u not have saved the better dancer and dance (I love Angela btw). <\/p>\n

During her vote, Shirley said: "It's important for me always when it comes to Ballroom and Latin is the character of the dance, that it's true to the dance, timing and quality and I would have voted for Angela and Carlos."<\/p>\n
