There, the concierge directed her to the bar, where Maxwell and Epstein were drinking.<\/p>\n<p>Stein joined Maxwell and Epstein in a hotel room to deliver the packages. The pair allegedly changed into monogrammed bathrobes before asking about Stein&#8217;s &#8216;personal and sex life.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>They allegedly began kissing and touching each other before asking if Stein had ever participated in a threesome.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Maxwell then encouraged [Stein] to join them and assured her &#8216;it would be fun,&#8217; the complaint reads.<\/p>\n<p>As Stein was &#8216;hesitant and afraid of Epstein or Maxwell hurting her physically and professionally,&#8217; she complied.\u00a0At one point, Stein allegedly asked to stop and was ignored.<\/p>\n<p>The duo relented after she said her then-boyfriend was on his way home &#8211; but as she headed out, Epstein &#8216;handed her cash and stated it was a &#8216;tip,&#8221; the complaint reads.<\/p>\n<p>Stein felt &#8216;confused, betrayed, humiliated, and completely violated&#8217; by the gesture. But Maxwell allegedly came in a few months later and &#8216;befriended&#8217; her again.<\/p>\n<p>In the fall of 1995, Maxwell invited Stein over to Epstein&#8217;s home for a dinner party, where Stein was brought to a room with a massage table. According to the complaint, she was made to &#8216;engage in sexual acts with others in the room.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Months later, Maxwell allegedly invited Stein to a New Year&#8217;s Eve party at the Waldorf Astoria and bought her a dress to wear.<\/p>\n<p>Stein later learned that her &#8216;date&#8217; was Maxwell and Epstein, who allegedly told her to have sex with them.<\/p>\n<p>When she resisted, the duo &#8216;became physically aggressive,&#8217; made fun of her for taking the subway to the party, and said they were &#8216;going to show her what a train is tonight.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Epstein then raped her vaginally, anally and orally while Maxwell held her down, the complaint says.<\/p>\n<p>Afterward, Stein was allegedly raped by an unknown man as she was restrained by Maxwell and Epstein before they all went downstairs. The complaint states that Stein left after she started vomiting.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;To make up for the New Year&#8217;s sexual assault,&#8217; Maxwell invited Stein on a Florida vacation, the complaint alleges.<\/p>\n<p>In Florida, Stein was taken to Epstein&#8217;s Palm Beach home, where she was &#8216;sexually assaulted by the pool while other guests watched.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>According to the complaint, Stein began to resist the abuse, which resulted in her being punished. She was allegedly barred from leaving Florida for several days, which led to her being fired from her job.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/23\/07\/63506313-12783007-Maxwell_was_convicted_and_sentenced_to_20_years_imprisonment_las-a-33_1700725634647.jpg\" height=\"705\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Maxwell was convicted and sentenced to 20 years imprisonment last year<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/23\/07\/72624479-12783007-She_earned_the_nickname_prison_Karen_after_filinh_more_than_400_-a-32_1700725634483.jpg\" height=\"667\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>She earned the nickname &#8216;prison Karen&#8217; after filinh more than 400 complaints over the unfavorable conditions at FCI Tallahassee<\/p>\n<p>After returning home, she learned she had gotten pregnant and was allegedly forced by Maxwell to get an abortion.<\/p>\n<p>The duo &#8216;continued stalking her\u00a0with repeated phone calls and cabled messages to her,&#8217; the complaint reads.<\/p>\n<p>Stein first attended Maxwell&#8217;s trial in 2021, watching the proceedings as a member of the public.<\/p>\n<p>She returned to Manhattan for the heiress&#8217;s sentencing in June 2022 and read a victim impact statement, describing the events as &#8216;so traumatizing that to this day I&#8217;m unable to speak about them.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>She said Epstein and Maxwell &#8216;terrified&#8217; her and threatened to kill her if she told anyone what they did.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Epstein was found dead in his jail cell in 2019 as he awaited trial. His death was ruled a suicide.<\/p>\n<p>Maxwell was convicted two years later and sentenced to 20 years imprisonment.<\/p>\n<p>She earned the moniker &#8216;prison Karen&#8217; at FCI Tallahassee in Florida after filing over 400 complaints about prison conditions.<\/p>\n<p>In May, accuser\u00a0Carolyn Adriano &#8211; whose testimony helped put Maxwell behind bars -was found dead in a hotel room of a suspected overdose.<\/p>\n<p>Following Maxwell&#8217;s sentencing, Adriano spoke with Dailymail.com, saying she was glad that her voice had been heard.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;It&#8217;s so important because I have my own daughters now,&#8217; she said during an exclusive interview in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>During the trial, Carolyn didn&#8217;t use her last name, but revealed it to help empower other abuse victims.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I&#8217;m not ashamed at being a victim of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell,&#8217;
