It followed the Muppet rock band, Dr Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, as they embarked on a journey to make their first studio album and go platinum.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mayhem, which featured fan-favourite characters like Dr Teeth, Sgt. With numbers like that, it makes no sense to cancel the show. But sadly, Disney+ did just that.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After just one season, The Muppets Mayhem came to an end, and fans were understandably devastated.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one fan commented: \u201cThis sucks! Can\u2019t have anything good anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another said: \u201cThank you so much for this wonderful show!! Truly reflected the heart of Jim Henson. Mr Henson would\u2019ve been proud,\u201d added a third fan.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, a fourth fan raged that the show\u2019s cancellation was such \u201ca waste.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, when creator Adam F. Goldberg announced the show\u2019s cancellation, he hinted that it wasn\u2019t the end for The Muppets.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cMayhem was truly the most joyful and collaborative experience of my career.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom day one all I\u2019ve cared about is creating a Muppet-verse and YES I am already cooking up more Muppets with Bill Baretta and Jeff Yorkes. IT\u2019S HAPPENING!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on behalf of his fellow co-creators, he added: \u201cWe love the Mayhem, but think about what could be next for Kermit &amp; the gang! We sure are!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Responding to the sad but hopeful announcement, one fan said: \u201cSad for the cancellation, but excited for the future projects! Keep the Muppet wheels going! Mayhem got the tone right.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m so sorry Muppets Mayhem is over, but I am still glad that the Muppet-verse is still happening.
