<\/p>\nFORMER WWE star Nikki Bella has hit back at her former employers after they omitted her name during the promotion of Barmageddon on Monday Night Raw.<\/p>\n
Bella, 40, left WWE in March and is now a co-host of USA Network show Barmageddon a celebrity game show.<\/p>\n
\n<\/p>\n
But when the programme was brought up on an episode of Raw, they omitted Bella's name despite announcing her co-host Blake Shelton.<\/p>\n
It comes eight months after she and her twin sister, Brie, who were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as The Bella Twins in 2020, left the organisation.<\/p>\n
And Nikki, who made her WWE debut back in 2007, has admits she was disappointed not to be name-checked by her old company.<\/p>\n
Speaking to NBC Chicago, she said: "It\u2019s sad. Like, there\u2019s obviously a lot of things I could say about that. I think more than anything, it\u2019s disappointing. I worked there for 16 years, and I helped pave the way for them.<\/p>\n
"Not only that they\u2019ve always been family to me, and no matter what, walking away, for me, it wasn\u2019t malicious. I\u2019m at a point in my life. I wanted to do things without hearing the word \u2018no,\u2019 and it was just strictly business.<\/p>\n
"Maybe there were some personal things that had happened over the years that also pushed me towards that, but I think more than anything, it\u2019s disappointing because I don\u2019t see it happen with the men.<\/p>\n
"For some reason with the women who are outspoken and we\u2019ve seen this with the women in the past, they just want to ban us.<\/p>\n
"I think it\u2019s sad because we all look at it as family and so, \u2018Okay, they don\u2019t want to say my name, that\u2019s fine'.<\/p>\n
