{"id":143403,"date":"2023-11-16T16:35:41","date_gmt":"2023-11-16T16:35:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebrity-hub.com\/?p=143403"},"modified":"2023-11-16T16:35:41","modified_gmt":"2023-11-16T16:35:41","slug":"irish-and-saracens-rugby-star-makes-desperate-plea-for-boot-sponsor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebrity-hub.com\/lifestyle\/irish-and-saracens-rugby-star-makes-desperate-plea-for-boot-sponsor\/","title":{"rendered":"Irish and Saracens rugby star makes &apos;desperate&apos; plea for boot sponsor"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Ireland and Saracens rugby star makes &#8216;desperate&#8217; plea for a kit sponsor, saying she can&#8217;t afford to buy the two pairs she needs for this season<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00a0Read more:\u00a0Burglars break into South Africa&#8217;s rugby HQ and get their hands on the World Cup trophy&#8230; but CCTV shows them leaving it behind to steal whisky, signed shirts and laptops instead!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>An international women&#8217;s rugby star has made an online plea for a boot sponsor on social media &#8211; and her Saracens Women club teammate admitted she was also on the hunt for help funding kit for the season ahead.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Grace Moore, 27, who born in the UK but plays for the Irish women&#8217;s national rugby team, asked her followers on X to help fund two pairs of boots for the season, at a cost of \u00a3400.<\/p>\n<p>Her post has since been viewed nearly 800,000 times and the Saracens player has since updated that she&#8217;s found a sponsor &#8211; but her club mate Sydney Gregson followed up saying she was also struggling to afford boots.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/15\/16\/77838461-12753485-image-a-19_1700065736065.jpg\" height=\"781\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Plea:\u00a0Saracens Women and Irish international Grace Moore put a call out on social media to try and find someone to sponsor her boots this season, which sparked shock that an elite player should find herself struggling to fund basic kit<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/15\/16\/77838495-12753485-image-a-20_1700065754455.jpg\" height=\"363\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/15\/16\/77839387-12753485-image-a-32_1700066763114.jpg\" height=\"145\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Moore wrote on Wednesday: &#8216;I\u2019m desperately looking for a boot sponsor for this season! Ideally up to \u00a3400 (to cover the cost of two pairs of boots for this season)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Please get it touch if this is something you might be able to assist with (even if it\u2019s one pair for this season) Thank you.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Later, Gregson offered a similar appeal, writing: &#8216;I am also looking for a boot sponsor!
