ERIK TEN HAG furiously claimed TWO of Copenhagen's goal should not have stood in Manchester United's damaging 4-3 defeat on Tuesday night.

The Red Devils led 2-0 thanks to a Rasmus Hojlund brace, before Marcus Rashford was controversially sent off for catching Copenhagen defender Elias Jelert on the ankle with his studs.

Copenhagen then came back into the game through ex-Southampton man Mohamed Elyounoussi.

And Diogo Goncalves levelled things up in first-half stoppage time from the penalty spot.

Bruno Fernandes restored Man Utd's advantage midway through the second period, before Lukas Lerager and Roony Bardghji won the game for the hosts late on.

However, Ten Hag believes the first goal should have been disallowed as a Copenhagen player was stood in front of Andre Onana when Elyounoussi took aim.
