Fury survived a knockdown <\/p>\n

Fury said afterwards that he was rusty on what was his first fight in 10 months but declared it to be a \u201cperfect\u201d night ahead of his heavyweight showdown with Usyk.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat definitely wasn\u2019t in the script,\u201d said Fury. \u201c[Ngannou] is a lot better of a boxer than we thought he\u2019d be. He\u2019s a very awkward man, and he\u2019s a good puncher, and I respect him a lot. He was very awkward, he wasn\u2019t coming forward; he was waiting for me to throw my punches then looking to counter.<\/p>\n
\u201c[The knockdown] is a part of boxing. I got caught behind the head. I got up and it was alright; I got back to my boxing.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know how close [the fight] was, but I got the win and that\u2019s what it is. I\u2019ve been out of the ring a long time again. You can see it in here \u2013 ring rust, everything. No excuses, though. He\u2019s cut me across the eye there. It was a good, rough fight. Perfect.\u201d<\/p>\n
