FRIENDS star Matthew Perry looked downcast while going out for dinner with friends just a few days before he died.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Matthew died tragically on Saturday evening at the age of 54 in an apparent drowning incident. <\/p>\n

Earlier this week, the actor was seen having dinner while appearing to be quite gloomy. <\/p>\n

He was walking away from a restaurant called The Apple Pan in Los Angeles, California. <\/p>\n

The Friends star was out with a friend while enjoying a meal at the restaurant which was known for its famous hamburgers.<\/p>\n

Matthew wore a very casual outfit during his outing, as he was spotted wearing a blue T-shirt with a pair of black joggers and white sneakers without any laces.<\/p>\n

He also wore a pair of sunglasses while holding a large cup of soda that appeared to be left over from his meal.<\/p>\n

His unstyled hair was blowing in the wind, and his face was covered in a short salt-and-pepper beard.<\/p>\n

TRAGIC DEATH <\/strong><\/h2>\n

An early report of Matthew's death came from TMZ.<\/p>\n

Sources in law enforcement said the actor was found in the jacuzzi at a home in the Los Angeles area.<\/p>\n

First responders were initially called to the house for a cardiac arrest.<\/p>\n

Sources also reported that there were no drugs found at the scene, and foul play is not suspected at this time.<\/p>\n

The outlet revealed Matthew came home after a two-hour game of pickleball, as he sent his assistant out on an errand shortly thereafter.<\/p>\n

The assistant is said to have returned about two hours later, where he discovered Matthew unresponsive and reached out to emergency services.<\/p>\n

Matthew's last post\u00a0on\u00a0Instagram\u00a0ominously showed him enjoying a dip in a jacuzzi.<\/p>\n

In the caption, the television star said: "Oh, so warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I'm Mattman."<\/p>\n

In the years leading up to his death, Matthew left fans worried he'd fallen back into old habits after\u00a0he appeared disheveled.<\/p>\n

The sighting came after he wrapped up his whirlwind\u00a0book tour where he promoted his memoir.<\/p>\n

In the book, Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing: A Candid, Darkly Funny Book, he shared shocking\u00a0details about his life\u00a0and past issues.<\/p>\n

He spoke about\u00a0battling addiction\u00a0\u2013 something he's been open about through the years.<\/p>\n

In 2018, when he was 49 years old, he suffered a gastrointestinal perforation as a result of his extreme opiate usage.<\/p>\n
