Strictly: Angela reacts after performing her American Smooth<\/h3>\n

As Halloween week approaches on Strictly Come Dancing, Angela Scanlon has spoken out about her progress during the show.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the Mirror she discussed how she hasn\u2019t noticed the toned body or weight loss that other celebrities experience during the Strictly experience.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cI mean, I don\u2019t know if I\u2019ve got a dancer\u2019s bum yet. I have a flat nana\u2019s bum! We had a trick in our Charleston that involved a handstand, and we did one run-through and we decided to call it a day after because my arms literally just collapsed underneath me.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I feel quite strong, and I realise I haven\u2019t done proper exercise in a committed way for a very long time. So, actually, it\u2019s quite nice to feel strong in my body and push myself. It\u2019s intense. The hours that you are putting in are insane. You do realise very quickly when you\u2019re actually dancing with someone who\u2019s a pro, and it looks so easy. And that\u2019s the gift, isn\u2019t it? They\u2019ve worked for 20 years to make it look absolutely effortless.<\/p>\n

Before going on to explain how she feels, the pro dancers make her look: \u201cAnd then you do it and you look like a donkey in a barn. Viewers only see us on Saturday night, Carlos is like, \u2018Oh yeah, it\u2019s definitely a process\u2019. And it is definitely a process.\u201d<\/p>\n

Angela is partnered with professional dancer Carlos Gu.<\/p>\n

The couple will be taking to the dance floor this week to perform the Paso Doble to Black Swan by District 78.<\/p>\n

Last week, they danced the American Smooth to To Cherish by Madonna and received mixed feedback from the judges.<\/p>\n
