She used to feel ashamed of her thick thighs, regarding them as "ginormous."<\/p>\n

These days she is obsessed with them, considering her thighs beautiful.<\/p>\n
It's a complete turnaround for Kennedy (@kennedyryoung).<\/p>\n
This Vancouver lady, who has 53,000 followers on her TikTok, has learned to love her body shape.<\/p>\n
Most particularly, her thick thighs. <\/p>\n
In her post, she took a swipe at the expectations of women when it came to considered ideal body shapes.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis video is for younger me or for any girl that has body issues," she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cSpecifically, with hating your legs. Or thunder thighs."<\/p>\n
Kennedy illustrated her point with a photo of herself, posing in an all-white body suit.<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Her long dark hair flowed over her shoulders in a brightly lit room. On her feet, she wore a pair of high-heeled strappy sandals.<\/p>\n \u201cJust look at this picture and tell me that our beauty standards are not f**ked," she said with passion.<\/p>\n There was not an inch of vanity or conceit when she asked: \u201cHow good do I look in this picture?"<\/p>\n Instead, she was trying to make the point that there was never anything wrong with her legs, despite the narrative she had told herself.<\/p>\n \u201cMy legs are the highlight of this picture," she wrote. "They look so beautiful."<\/p>\n Kennedy admitted to having a very different mindset a few years ago.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you had asked me to post this photo two, three, four years ago I would be like, \u2018my legs are ginormous, I\u2019m not posting that,'" she admitted.<\/p>\n She continued: \u201cOur beauty standards are absolutely f**ked up because I think that person right there is f**king gorgeous.<\/p>\n "I am obsessed with my thick thighs now.\u201d<\/p>\n There was no doubting the opinions of commenters to her post.<\/p>\n \u201cAbsolutely stunning and love the message," said one person.<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/jbfootiethug-comp.jpg\")
