BIG Brother bosses have had to ramp up security at the house after a YouTuber attempted to film contestants using a drone.

Producers fear that as the buzz surrounding the ITV2 reboot continues it won’t be the last time a stunt like it is pulled.

So they want to protect the location to ensure the mammoth project can continue without fear of interruptions or distractions.

The YouTuber tried to fly a drone over the house last week and hacked into the show’s radio system to listen to the TV crew’s conversations.

He refused to leave when confronted by security, telling them his stunt was “fair game”.

A TV insider said: “While security measures have always been in place, there was always the hope that the relatively remote location of the Big Brother house might limit the number of people who might attempt to access the house.
