AMAZON Prime Day kicks off tomorrow, but there are plenty of deals on Ring smart security available right now.<\/p>\n
The retailer has dropped the price of the 2nd-generation Ring Video Doorbell from \u00a399.99 to just \u00a359.99 – that's a 40% discount.<\/p>\n

Once Amazon Prime Big Deals Day kicks off, we'll see literally thousands of products reduced exclusively for Prime subscribers.<\/p>\n
But days ahead of the two-day sale, Amazon slashed prices across its range of smart devices, including the Ring security range.<\/p>\n
This is a great opportunity to pick up a versatile Alexa device for a lot less cash than usual – and it's available for everyone, not just Prime subscribers.<\/p>\n
Add an extra layer to your home security by upgrading your doorbell to the Ring doorbell so you can identify whoever is at your door without having to open it to them.<\/p>\n
The wireless doorbell records video in 1080p with night vision capabilities, so you'll always have a clear view of the person knocking, be it a late-night food delivery or an unexpected guest.<\/p>\n
If you're often away, you can also answer the door via the Ring doorbell using a tablet or smartphone so people won't know when you're in.<\/p>\n
Even if you're the kind of person who is constantly slogged with meetings left and right, you can record quick replies and respond with pre-recorded messages.<\/p>\n
The camera isn't limited to showing you anyone who presses the bell, as it also notifies you when movement is captured, so if anyone is trying to be sneaky, you'll still be aware.<\/p>\n

You do, however, get a 30-day subscription for free with each purchase if you're looking to test before you sign up.<\/p>\n
Amazon shoppers seem ecstatic with their purchase as it has a superb 4.6-star rating on the retailer's site.<\/p>\n
One customer has raved about how it's 'a fantastic product', while another reviewer describes it as 'the BEST doorbell camera by a landslide', going on to state 'this has everything you could dream of'. <\/p>\n
