<\/p>\nEastEnders' Eve star Heather Peace has shared a sweet compilation video with her co-star Lacey Turner who plays Stacey Slater on the soap.<\/p>\n
The video was posted by an EastEnders fan who had put together various clips of Stacey and Eve. Actress Heather then took to X – formerly Twitter – to praise her co-star. <\/p>\n

She wrote: "Best of friends on and off screen. Lacey Turner is an absolute powerhouse and I'm lucky to work alongside her and even luckier to call her my friend."<\/p>\n
Heather continued: "Thanks for all the lovely comments on tonight's EastEnders as ever. They mean a lot."<\/p>\n

Their fans immediately flooded in to the comments with support, while one person wrote: "How amazing was Bobby too. This guy is so endearing!"<\/p>\n
Heather responded to say: "Absolutely agreed. He's an absolute star." A second person praised the duo writing: "I adore the Stacey\/Eve relationship… always back each other up, even when they are in the wrong!<\/p>\n
"You've been a breath of fresh air since you started on EastEnders. Team Steve!" It's not the first time Heather has praised her relationship with Lacey away from the cameras.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Inside Soap last year, she said: "I haven't made a friend like Lacey for a long time. As you get older, those friendships don't come along very often.<\/p>\n
"From day one, we connected, and she's one of my best pals. Lacey is an absolute diamond – I'd trust her with anything."<\/p>\n

Heather joined EastEnders in 2021 as ex-con Eve Unwin after meeting Stacey in prison. When she joined the soap, Heather said: "I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining the cast of EastEnders and I love my character Eve. <\/p>\n
"She's tough, but fair; super bright and cheeky. I'm loving working with such a brilliant cast, in particular Lacey Turner. We immediately got on and sparked off each other which makes going to work easy and fun." <\/p>\n
Since Eve has joined, she quickly became a beloved fan-favourite, particularly following her relationship with Suki. Although it's not been plain sailing for the pair, fans are still hoping to see the duo would get their happy ending. <\/p>\n
