IT may only be autumn but some people have already started thinking about Christmas presents.<\/p>\n

So it's no wonder savvy shoppers are racing to Asda after seeing the supermarket has reduced a load of stationery – including Sharpie pens and glitter highlighters. <\/p>\n

Nicola took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to share her massive stationery haul, as she wrote: "Well impressed with my Asda bargains!! Thanks for the earlier posts. <\/p>\n

"Being stashed away for Xmas & kids party gifts". <\/p>\n

In the accompanying snaps, she showed the 18 packs of stationery bits she'd picked up, with a photo of the receipt showing that most of what she'd nabbed was less than \u00a31. <\/p>\n

"Amazing, I haven't seen any reduced at my local Asda," one person commented on the post. <\/p>\n

"Was this a big Asda or George Asda?" a third asked. <\/p>\n

To which Nicola replied: "Crawley Asda is a big store with George clothes too". <\/p>\n

"Wow wish I got some of these for my classes. Hopefully be some left tomorrow," someone else wrote. <\/p>\n

Kitty also hadn't held out much hope that she'd be lucky enough to find some reduced bits in her local Asda. <\/p>\n

And while she did manage to grab a few bits, she was stunned by the labels for the bits that had already gone. <\/p>\n

"I had suspected to there won't be any reduced stationery left at my local Asda (Cowley, Oxford)… and I was right!" she wrote. <\/p>\n

"I was very surprised by what they did have by looking at the labels though. <\/p>\n

"Pens, pencils, chalk pens, notebooks, Sharpies, highlighters, loads! So fab deals for those who got them.<\/p>\n

"There was still stock of these Pukka Pads and Sharpie gel pens."<\/p>\n

She also shared photos of a Leaf it with me notebook that was just 35p, and Sharpie gel pens that were 60p for the pack. <\/p>\n

Kitty added that there were "lots of party items on sale", pointing out packs of plates for 40p, straws for 25p and an 18-piece reusable cutlery set for just 88p. <\/p>\n

To which someone else revealed that it was actually an Asda Living store that Kitty had been to. <\/p>\n
