<\/p>\nRonny Huybrechts has admitted he might have to hand in his PDC Tour card because of his warehouse day job.<\/p>\n
The 58-year-old, currently ranked 123 in the world, has been a PDC professional for a decade following 12 years across two separate spells in BDO competition. However, the news that Players Championships will take place on weekdays from next year could signal his retirement.<\/p>\n
Huybrechts, who was part of the first brothers team at the World Cup of Darts with sibling Kim, has earned just \u00a310,750 across the last two years of competition at ranking tournaments. That form comes eight years after he broke into the top 32 on the order of merit.<\/p>\n

He told Nieuwsblad earlier this month: "This is a very big disaster. I already took a quick look and did some math: if I take in all the floor tournaments until June, my days off. And then I haven't even counted the qualifications for other tournaments. That's just not possible.<\/p>\n
"I can't be absent 80 to 90 days as the only warehouse worker with us. In a big factory, you can possibly make a deal with your boss, but this is not the case for me.<\/p>\n
"I can sometimes pick a few extra days, but not that much."<\/p>\n

Huybrechts, from Antwerp, mentioned that although the top players in the world made up of Peter Wright, Michael can Gerwen and Michael Smith have made more than \u00a31million over the past two years, only 71 have made more than \u00a350,000.<\/p>\n
Karel Sedlacek, who sneaks inside the top 100, has made \u00a319,250 from ranked tournaments over the past 24 months.<\/p>\n
Despite the disruption to Huybrechts, a former European Championship semi-finalist, the decision isn't likely to be altered.<\/p>\n
