Gardeners’ World star Adam Frost said a bout of ill health was behind his decision to move away from Villa Farm.

For more than five years, the green-fingered host invited the show’s viewers into his Villa Farm home where he inspired many with his lush garden creations.

Adam, 54, shared the home near Stamford in Lincolnshire with his wife Sulina, their four children and multiple animals including their cat Ash.

But despite his enviable property, the couple decided to sell up and downsize last year following a string of health issues among them.

Adam revealed that his long-term wife was hospitalised after developing sepsis and his 15-year-old daughter Amelia had also become sick with an eating disorder.
