SARA Sharif’s mum has slammed her ex after he released a video from Pakistan while on the run from cops.

Olga believes Urfan Sharif is “making himself into the victim” after their 10-year-old was found dead at a home in Woking, Surrey, on August 10.

Urfan fled the UK to his native Pakistan with his partner Beinash Batool last month where he made a 999 call to British cops.

This morning Mr Sharif and Ms Batool released a video statement claiming they have been forced into hiding.

In the clip, Ms Batool revealed her family "are willing to cooperate with the UK authorities and fight our case in court" – but moaned about the conditions they are living under.

Now Olga has slammed the couple for the "heartless" clip.

She told The Sun: “I hope it’s true that they actually want to work with the British police but I’ll believe it when it happens.

“They say they want to cooperate but it can’t be just on their terms, it has to be in the UK and in British courts.

“There’s nothing (in the video) about how upset they are or how they are grieving for Sara. It’s like they don’t even care.

“All they can say is that it’s an incident."

</picture>this moaning!

</picture>HOLLY SNUB

</picture>PAINFUL VIEWING

</picture>LOVE SPLIT

Last month, the little girl's uncle – Urfan’s brother Imran Sharif – allegedly claimed Sara died after breaking her neck when she fell down a flight of stairs.

But in today's clip Ms Batool denied the claims.

Olga added: “An incident is not the same as an accident.

“It’s all about them. They know they’re in a corner now that they can’t get out of.

“They want the world to hear them first to try and get ahead of the truth.”

National Crime Agency cops have been working with Interpol and Pakistani authorities to track Mr Sharif, 41, down.

It is understood the dad fled capital Islamabad with Ms Batool and Mr Malik on August 9 – the day before Sara was found dead.

There is no extradition treaty between Pakistan and the UK, which would make it difficult to bring the suspects back for questioning.

In the video Ms Batool said they are “afraid to leave the house” and there is “no food for the kids”.

Olga said: “If they’re so worried about what the Pakistani police would do, why did they fly to Pakistan and go into hiding?

“They say there is no food in the house and they can’t feed the kids.

“But the children would be safe and looked after if they handed themselves in. The only people it would affect are them.

“They don’t want to put themselves at risk (of being caught) by going out to feed their children. It is a heartless thing to do.

“All they care about is trying to make themselves the victims.”

It's the first time the pair have surfaced since they disappeared to Pakistan following the death of Sara, with police desperately hunting for them.

It's still unclear how Sara died, however a previous post-mortem revealed the little girl suffered “multiple and extensive injuries which are likely to have been caused over a sustained and extended period of time”.

Surrey Police Detective Superintendent, Mark Chapman, said: "While the post-mortem has not provided us with an established cause of death at this time, we now know that Sara had suffered multiple and extensive injuries over a sustained and extended period.

"This has significantly changed the nature of our investigation, and we have widened the timescale of the focus of our enquiry.

"As a result, we are trying to piece together a picture of Sara’s lifestyle but we cannot do this without the public’s help."

Sara's body was found after police were rushed to an address belonging to Urfan, in Woking around 2.50am on Thursday, August 10, 2023.

It quickly emerged three people police wanted to speak to had skipped the country in the hours before the youngster was discovered.

MORE ON SARA
