UK outlook for Sunday 9 Dec 2018 to Tuesday 18 Dec 2018
SUNDAY could bring showers to the north and east, whilst there is a chance of more persistent rain for a time in the south and west. Strong winds in the northeast and southwest.
During the rest of this period, especially early next week, prolonged drier, settled but cold spells are likely, with lighter winds. Any wet and windy weather should be confined to the north and west.
This will bring overnight frosts and perhaps fog, especially for the south and east, as well as a chance of snow in the north and west with wintry showers possible in the east.
Some unsettled milder spells are likely, more so from late next week onwards.
