  • The reality TV star allegedly posted footage of her driving very quickly
  • At one stage she allegedly filmed herself driving at more than 100 miles per hour

A Channel 4 star has been branded ‘selfish’ and a ‘self-entitled idiot’ by road safety chiefs for filming herself on a mobile phone driving at 120mph.

Sophie Leigh, who stars in Mega Mansion Hunters, was heard saying ‘so fun’ while hitting dangerously high speeds on videos which she posted on Instagram.

She was driving from Manchester to Glasgow in a yellow Audi R8 sports car when she reached her top speed of 117mph.

Sophie, 27, later hit 91mph while she was crossing the Friarton Bridge into Perth, Central Scotland.

Neil Greig, Director of Policy and Research of road safety charity IAM RoadSmart, condemned Sophie’s actions and encouraged police action.

He said: ‘This is ridiculously selfish behaviour.

‘The police should be investigating her for potential speeding offences and at the very least issuing a warning if they can’t make out the exact location where the offences took place.

‘When influencers could be such positive role models it’s really disappointing to see yet another self-entitled idiot flaunting their law breaking. Social media platforms should be checking for this alongside other forms of illegal posting.’

MailOnline have contacted Sophie’s reps for comment.

As well as documenting her high speeds on the journey to Glasgow, Sophie also filmed herself stopping off for petrol, going for a car wash and subsequent frustration her freshly cleaned motor had been hit by bird excrement.

Sophie rose to fame earlier this year by starring in the debut series of Mega Mansion Hunters, dubbed the UK’s version of cult Netflix series Selling Sunset, which aired at 10pm on Wednesday nights.

The show follows the real estate agents working at Tyron Ash, named after the property guru owner and show’s main star, who sell luxury real estate across the UK and are rewarded with five-figure bonuses.

The Surrey-born petrol head has undertaken several cosmetic surgery proceedures – including a Brazilian bumlift – and litered her social media accounts with provocative pictures in her underwear and posing next to fast cars and motorbikes.

Speaking about her role on the show, Sophie says: ‘I believe what makes me a great agent is that I am just myself – I am not trying to be a certain person or look a certain way to fit the profile.

‘I have tattoos and I show them off, I am not scared to hide them despite what the corporate world’s negative opinions are. I don’t like to fit in, I like to stand out.’

Sophie was contacted for comment.
