A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a woman and three children were injured in a home.
Police were scrambled to Denbighshire, Wales, in the early hours of Friday morning following a "domestic dispute".
A 33-year-old woman and three children were rushed to hospital after being found injured in the property.
The woman remains in a critical but stable condition, while one of the children suffered serious injuries.
Police confirmed the other two children have since been discharged.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.
Police confirmed they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the horror.
They also said the incident is being treated "isolated" and there is no "ongoing threat" to the wider community.
Detective Chief Inspector Chris Bell of the Force Major Incident Team said: “Enquiries are ongoing into what has clearly been a serious and concerning incident and we fully appreciate the concern it has caused in the local community.
“Detectives are conducting enquiries to determine the exact circumstances of what has taken place and the man who was arrested remains in police custody.
