A MOTHER and toddler hoping to get into the festive mood at a Dickens-themed Christmas fair were bitterly disappointed.
Instead of the “Victorian holiday party” it promised, they were confronted with an uncheerful industrial park and a lacklustre production.
The mother and daughter queued for three hours before entering "The Drive Thru Dickens London Christmas Fair", which they afterwards slated as a “fail” and rated a five-out-of-ten.
In a clip shared on TikTok, fake snowy streets of Victorian London have been pathetically forced into a giant industrial park on the outskirts of sunny San Francisco.
Families paid $25 for what promised to be a “taste” of Dickens' London experienced from "the comfort of your car".
The mother exposed the tedious wait time to get into the bizarre event that lacked Christmas spirit.

Woman blames husband for obscene Christmas decoration fail – it’s hilarious
Sporadic scenes of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol were taking place in the openings of storage facilities and bored-looking actors were carted around the fake streets lined with Union Jack flags.
And a happy-clappy singsong on a bare stage made for a bizarre end to the terrible tour.
Far from the joyful experience they hoped for, the woman was decidedly unimpressed and her toddler looked appropriately bored throughout the production.
“Just okay, not worth the 3hr queue," she wrote on TikTok.

It comes as customers at Christmas markets within the UK slammed the events for the daylight robbery at overpriced food stalls.
Just two potato snacks came to £14 in Edinburgh, whilst two hot chocolates cost an eye-watering £13 in Manchester.
“My bank account cried,” said Becka Blackburn as she drunk her extortionate hot beverage.
Earlier this week, we told of how a family at this year's York Christmas Market were left fuming after discovering the event was far from child-friendly.
