The child, 14, was knocked down and suffered injuries in the collision on Saturday evening in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

The car involved sped off without stopping at the scene.

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police appealed for any witnesses and dash-cam footage following the collision which left the schoolgirl with non-life threatening injuries.
