SHOOTINGS over the weekend left four people dead and 17 injured in Chicago, police said.
One of the victims was a 17-year-old boy who was shot in front of a home on the South Side.
He was standing in the driveway of a home just before 2.30am on Saturday morning when he was shot in the chest.
He was taken to the hospital where he died, according to local ABC affiliate WLS-TV.
The teen was the fifth person killed this year in the area of Washington Heights, the outlet reported.
Two people were shot, one fatally, during a fight on Friday night.
Just before 8pm, someone opened fire during a fight in the 1500 block of East 61st Street, police said.

Darius Sanders, 29, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to local FOX affiliate WFLD-TV.
A 31-year-old was struck in the hand and taken to the same hospital in fair condition, police said.

A 40-year-old man was standing outside in the 300 block of South Kilbourn Avenue around 3.25am on Sunday morning when he was shot in the chest and killed by someone traveling in a red car, police said.
Later that night, a 27-year-old man was found on a sidewalk in the 2000 block of West 35th Street with a gunshot wound to the neck and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Another 17-year-old boy was shot in Lawndale on the West Side while walking on the sidewalk in the 1800 block of South Springfield Avenue just after 1am Saturday morning.
He was shot in the left hand and was taken to the hospital in fair condition, police reported.
An 11-year-old girl was also injured during the weekend of violence.
She was inside an apartment around 11.05pm on Friday when she was shot in the neck, according to WFLD-TV.
She was taken to the hospital where she was in fair condition, police said.
A weapon was recovered inside the apartment, officials said.
A 16-year-old boy was hurt in a drive-by shooting Saturday night in Archer Heights on the Southwest Side, WFLD-TV reported.
The teen was walking just before 7.30pm in the 3900 block of West 49th Street when a car drove up and someone from inside fired shots at him, police said.
He was struck in the leg and buttocks and was taken to the hospital in good condition.
At least 68 teens and children have been shot in Chicago this year, which is four more than last year in the same time frame. At least 14 of those 68 victims were killed.
Continuing the violent weekend, a 31-year-old man was shot after an argument on a Chicago Transit Authority bus on Sunday morning on the West Side.
The man was arguing with another passenger on a bus in the 700 block of South Pulaski Road around 12.15am when he was shot in the right leg, police said.

The bus driver stopped after hearing gunshots and the shooter left the bus and fled north, police said. The man was taken to the hospital wherein good condition.
At least 13 others were wounded in shootings in Chicago since Friday evening.
