Donald Trump Jr. blamed the “social media gods” at Instagram for allegedly deleting a photo of himself with an injured US Army veteran.
The photo of Trump Jr. and Sgt. Omar “Crispy” Avila was taken last week at the National Rifle Association convention in Indianapolis.
Avila posted the snap to his own Instagram — but claimed on Sunday that it was inexplicably yanked.
In a lengthy post on Tuesday, the president’s eldest son called out Instagram for “their bias deleting posts.”
“There was nothing harsh or political in there and as usual it magically somehow ‘violated @Instagram standards’, presumably because I’m in it and that’s too much for the social media gods in California,” Trump Jr. ranted. “The bulls–t has to stop. If Instagram can censor a hero like this who the hell won’t they suppress???”
Avila reposted the photo, saying, “I honestly don’t know why this picture was taken down by Instagram… Not sure what guidelines it violates But here we go again…”
