DI RAY has been thrilling fans will it's tale of murder and criminal activity.

But fans of the ITV series – which is written by Line of Duty actress and screenwriter Maya Sondhi – want to know if the show will be back for a second series.

Will there be a second series of DI Ray?

DI Ray has proved a huge success for ITV, so viewers are keen to know if the series will be back for more.

At the moment there is no word on whether there will be a second series.

The Sun has contacted ITV for a comment on a season 2.

If the show does return, it is likely to air in April 2023.

Rachita and the team uncover more evidence leading them to believe they are dealing with highly dangerous organised criminals.

But who will end up dead next?
