Is Matt Evers stripping for charity?

Yes, lucky fans are due to get an eyeful as he's been confirmed to be taking part in The All New Monty 2019:Who Dares Wins.

He'll join Love Island winner Jack Fincham, Emmerdale’s Kelvin Fletcher, King of the Jungle Joe Pasquale, Strictly Come Dancing’s Gorka Marquez, snooker legend Willie Thorne, Crimewatch’s Rav Wilding,  and footballer Jason Cundy, to put on their dancing shoes and drop their pants for charity –  and raise awareness of male cancer.

Dancing on Ice judge Ashley Banjo will oversea the dance routine that will lead to a striptease, while soul legend Alexander O'Neill will take care of the singing.

Who is Matt Evers?

Matt Evers was born in St Paul, Minnesota but grew up in North Dakota.

The sportsman specialises in ice skating and won the Junior pairs title at the 1998 US Championships.

He then went on to compete in three senior international events, including competitions in Canada and Russia.

After moving to NYC to pursue his showbiz dreams, he worked on Broadway, modelled and picked up the odd acting job here and there.

What has Matt Evers said about Gemma Collins?

Matt confirmed on ITV's Lorraine that Gemma has not quit in a huge diva strop as previously claimed.

Rumour had it she stormed off set after taking a nap backstage.

He said: "She did not have a nap – although we all wanted to take a nap on Sunday. It was a miscommunication."

So there you have it.

And post the show Matt has been roped in by Gemma Collins to help her keep her weight off after Dancing on Ice.

Matt revealed the Towie star lost an extra three inches off her waist before they were kicked off the show last Sunday – after losing 2.5 stone during training for the skate competition.

He told The Sun Online: "We are meeting on Friday to work out how Gemma can find the time and fit in around 2 hours of exercise a day, and what the exercise should be. It won't be ice skating though –  there's not really an ice skating rink near her."

Why is Matt Evers famous in the UK?

Matt Evers is known for his role on Dancing On Ice – where he's taken part in all nine series.

Over the years, he's been paired with a wide variety of famous faces.

He won the show with Suzanne Shaw and came second when he skated with Jorgie Porter.

Evers has also participated in the telly contest with Bonnie Langford, Zoe Salmon, Heather Mills, Pamela Anderson and Denise Welch.

This year he partnered up with reality TV diva Gemma Collins.

What else is Matt Evers famous for?

He made his London stage debut in 2012, when he performed Up4aMeet at The Waterloo East Theatre.

Evers has also starred in panto performances of Beauty And The Beast and Cinderella.


When did Dancing On Ice 2019 start?

Dancing On Ice 2019 began on January 6, 2019 at 6pm on ITV.

Dancing On Ice proved a real hit with viewers since its return following a three-year break, after initially running from 2006 until 2014 and not returning until 2018.

Siobhan Greene, ITV's Head of Entertainment Commissioning, said "The show’s welcome back has exceeded our expectations and it’s been fantastic to see the audience at home loving it.

"The recommission is a no brainer and it’s brilliant for everyone involved to know it’ll be back next year."

The first episode aired at the same time as the news on BBC One and The Fifteen Billion Pound Railway on BBC Two.
