Victoria Beckham is said to be 'petrified' that
will unleash a bombshell over husband David Beckham's alleged affair.
Victoria, 49, and David, 48, loosely addressed the 2003 affair claims in David's Netflix documentary, named Beckham, in which Victoria admitted that it was the “unhappiest stage” in their 24-year marriage.
Rebecca, 46, has since spoken out as she told The Mail on Sunday. "It's all, 'poor me'. He [David] needs to take responsibility."
She continued: "He can say whatever he likes of course and I understand he has an image to preserve, but he is portraying himself as the victim and he's making me look like a liar, like I've made up these stories."
But Victoria, who shares four children with ex-Manchester United star David, is said to be nervous that Rebecca could speak out further to harm the Beckham brand.
A source told Closer magazine: “Posh has been rocked by Rebecca’s cryptic posts and is petrified she’s gearing-up to unleash more bombshells that could potentially destroy not only her marriage, but Brand Beckham.
“Posh thought that finally speaking out would put an end to the chapter once and for all, not prompt Rebecca to retaliate, which has understandably filled her with anxiety over not only what else she could say, but having to re-live the worst chapter of her life."
OK! has contacted Victoria's representatives for comment.
Victoria, who found fame with hit 90s girlband the Spice Girls, is said to be in talks for her own Netflix documentary, after the success of her husband, David's.
According to a source who spoke to The Sun, the show would give a behind-the-scenes look at Victoria's hard work in reinventing herself and building her fashion empire. It would also feature elements of her personal life, with appearances from David and her celebrity friends.
The source said: "At times her journey wasn't easy, and there will be a blood, sweat and tears look behind the scenes at the sheer graft she has put into reinventing herself. Off the back of David's success, and how well she came across, people will also see, in depth, her wit and sarcasm. Of course there will be some personal life elements and David, and her celebrity pals, will feature in the background."
They added that it is "early days" but those involved are "very excited" about the production.
