Top Boy: Season 3 official trailer on Netflix

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Top Boy.

Top Boy is no more with the third and final lot of episodes coming out on Netflix but what happened?

As expected, it was an explosive episode that saw death, betrayal and a moment which had subscribers rewinding to watch it for a second time.

Express.co.uk has a complete rundown of everything in Top Boy season three, episode six – the last ever episode.

Top Boy season 3 ending explained

Sully (Kane “Kano” Robinson) was still fuming over the drugs stolen from Highbury House and enlisted the help of Kieron (Joshua Blisset) who already knew Jaq (Jasmine Jobson) was behind it

To ensure his friend wouldn’t get into any trouble, Kieron lied, pretending he believed it was another member of Summerhouse.

But when they paid the drug dealer in question and put a gun in his mouth, threatening to shoot if they didn’t reveal what he had done with their stash, Sully knew he was innocent.

Kieron texted a livid Dushane (Ashley Walters) to tell him about the stolen drugs and when Jaq wasn’t at her house and not picking up their calls, they realised it was her.

After having a conversation with Becks (Adwoa Aboah) about what to do, Jaq decided to go to Sully, apologise and hand him back the drugs.

She asked if she would be given a pass if she co-operated but he didn’t guarantee her anything.

As this was going on, Dushane went to meet his lawyer who informed him that he was the prime suspect in Jeffrey’s (Shaun Dingwall) murder after finding his prints and DNA all over the crime scene.

He advised the drug lord to leave the country and put him in touch with someone who could make sure he got past passport control but would need £250,000 in order to do so.

Given the fact Lizzie (Lisa Dwan) had previously stolen all of his money earlier in the series, Dushane was desperate and unsure of where to turn.

Before meeting up with Jaq for the handover, Sully met with Kieron and told him he knew he lied to him.

Kieron apologised over and over again but Sully was having none of it and had one of his people drag him out of the car and into the back of a van, insinuating that he had been killed.

As this is all going on, drama was building around Summerhouse as there were bailiffs on site and what started off as a peaceful protest led by Mandy (NoLay) turned into chaos.

Riot police, cars exploding, fights breaking out, it was madness Dushane used to his advantage, knowing he was able to hide among it all.

So when Jaq was on her way to meet Sully with the drugs, he intercepted her, beat her to the floor and stole the bags.

Jaq informed Sully what had happened and he was far from happy, telling his former friend this is why she didn’t get a pass but, nevertheless, he ran off to try and find Dushane.

Eventually, Sully managed to track Dushane down just as he was about to be driven off to escape it all and there was a shoot-out.

Both the men who were helping Dushane were killed and so was one of Sully’s, leaving just them two.

In clear desperation, Dushane found himself down an alley with the exit blocked off by a locked gate.

He threw the bag of drugs over and was in the middle of climbing over as well when Sully saw him and shot, with Dushane falling onto the floor on the other side.

Separated by the gate, the pair had a heart-to-heart with Dushane saying he thought they were brothers, much to Sully’s anger.

Dushane admitted he didn’t respect Sully but it was too late as when the latter climbed over the gate, Dushane was dead and bleeding out on the ground.

Unsure of what to do, Sully jumped over the gate, took a moment to look at his fallen brother before taking the bag and jumping back over.

As all of this was happening, Stef (Araloyin Oshunremi) was looking as if he was preparing to kill Sully to get revenge for his brother Jamie’s (Micheal Ward) death in the previous season.

Having walked his daughter Tash (Felicia Mukasa) to school, Stef followed him through a park and pulled the gun out on him.

Sully didn’t seem surprised and told the youngster he no longer felt fear and understood if this was something he had to do.

However, at the last minute, Stef changed his mind and walked off, telling the dealer he “isn’t worth it”.

Everything seems to end quietly with Sully getting back in his car, ready to drive off, when in the last few moments, a gunshot was heard with Sully shot in the head through the window.

Blood was spattered everywhere and Sully’s head was thrown onto the wheel with the horn going off but it wasn’t known who killed him as they walked away without a second glance.

With so many enemies though, it could have been anyone who chose to pull the trigger.

Top Boy is available to watch on Netflix.
