This Morning fans desperate for Amanda Holden to return to show after Phillip Schofield ‘banned her’ | The Sun

THIS Morning viewers say they're desperate for Amanda Holden to return to the show after being "banned by Phillip Schofield".

The 52-year-old's fans hope there will be an opportunity for her to front the programme amid Philip's fallout with Holly Willoughby.

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda was keen for a regular presenting slot on the ITV daytime show back in 2018.

She was all set to fill in for Holly Willoughby while she was hosting I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! 2018, but the offer was withdrawn at the last minute.

Amanda claims Phillip got her axed from the role – which instead went to former girlband star Rochelle Humes, 34.

Now after Phillip's last-ditch attempt to save his This Morning partnership with Holly, fans are rallying for Amanda to take over.

ITV bosses ‘sick of clearing up Phillip Schofield’s mess’ after Holly fallout

One viewer said: "I would love to see you hosting This Morning again. When you presented with that ghastly Philip Schofield you were always naturally funny, punchy and very much had your own opinions. Until he put paid to that.

"Who would your ideal co host be Rylan Clark maybe?"

Another said: "My favourite moment would be seeing someone as hot as you everyday on the show."

The This Morning drama comes after The Sun revealed TV hosts Phil and Holly barely speak off camera.

In an emotional statement he told The Sun: “As I have said before, Holly is my rock.

“We’re the best of friends — as always, she is an incredible support on screen, behind the scenes and on the phone.

"Holly has always been there for me, through thick and thin. And I’ve been there for her.

“The last few weeks haven’t been easy for either of us.”
