THE Chase star Anne Hegerty admits fears she'll be AXED if the show gets a shake-up.

The 63-year-old has been a popular quizzed on the Channel 4 show since 2010.

She's one of six Chasers – including Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Paul Sinha, Jenny Ryan, and Darragh Ennis – who take it in turns to face the contestants hoping to win a bumper cash prize.

Speaking about the possibility of fresh faces on the show, Anne told The Sun: "The format is so perfect, I'm not sure how they could change it.

"The only thing they could do is bring in new faces.

"If they did decide to bring in a seventh Chaser, I really hope it will be Issa."

"We are paid a fee per show. There's just one pot to pay the Chasers out of.
