Strictly Come Dancing star Katya Jones has spoken to her fans after testing positive for coronavirus, meaning she and her partner Nicola Adams have to isolate as part of government guidelines.
This means Katya, 31, and Nicola, 39, won't be taking part in this week's show, and the rest of the 2020 series.
Before the show started, Strictly confirmed that anyone who caught coronavirus during the competition would automatically be axed.
Katya took to her Instagram Stories ahead of the show tonight to thank her followers for her support, as she hinted she and Nicola would returning to dance.
This comes after BBC confirmed that the former boxer is "banned" from coming back to the show in 2021, as she would have an "unfair advantage" compared to the rest of the contestants.
She said in a clip: "Hi everyone, just wanted to come on here and say a big, big thank you for floods of messages and support. It really has been so lovely and it means so much to me and Nicola.
"I'm absolutely fine, as you know – I have no symptoms at all. I'm just isolating and I'm…"
Katya then got emotional as she continued: "… gutted, heartbroken can't even describe my feelings. But we're so happy that we were able to do this. Hopefully it's the start of something bigger.
"Again, thank you so much to everybody who has supported us on the competition and now I've seen all your messages. I know I've not answered everybody but I'm going through them and I've seen them all."
Katya then shared a second clip in which she excited said: "And maybe, just maybe, we will dance for you again together! One way or another. But meanwhile, please, please, please look after yourselves, look after others.
"Be safe – it's another reminder that it's all around us. Even when we don't realise."
She then shared her best wishes to Anton, who will be on the judging panel this week, saying: "So excited that Anton will be stepping in for Motsi's job whilst she's quarantining.
"I love that man to bits and I can't wait to see him tomorrow. Come on!"
Katya's video comes after the news that she and Nicola won't be the only Strictly cast to be missing from the show, as Motsi Mabuse will be replaced by Anton du Beke.
Motsi revealed to her fans that she had to "urgently" fly to Germany after her dance studio were broken into, meaning she now needs to isolate for two weeks.
