Adam Thomas would ‘love to go back’ on Emmerdale
Adam Thomas reprised his role as Donte Charles in the BBC school-based drama earlier this year as Waterloo Road made a comeback.
Starting back in 2006, the hit show ran for nine years and ended in 2015, although earlier this year it was rebooted, with many original cast members coming back.
One of which included lovebirds Donte and Chlo Grainger (played by Katie Griffiths) who had gone on to have their own family.
Sadly, disaster struck at the end of the first episode when Chlo unexpectedly died, leaving Donte and her children behind.

Speaking about Chlo’s death during an interview on ITV’s Lorraine, he said: “I mean the fans are outraged! They really are, they keep messaging me.”
Host Lorraine Kelly interjected as she told the 35-year-old it looked as though Donte and Chlo were going to be the happy family of the show.
Laughing, Adam replied: “Well it started off so well, didn’t it? Then obviously the shock at the end when unfortunately Chlo gets- yeah.
“It’s not my fault guys, it’s not my fault! They’re (the fans) all blaming me.”

Let’s hope Adam gets a warmer reception from viewers when he makes his Strictly Come Dancing debut this autumn.
The actor was announced as one of the 15 stars taking part alongside Ellie Leach, Nikita Kanda, Angela Rippon, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Amanda Abbington, Layton Williams, Angela Scanlon, Eddie Kadi and Zara McDermott.
Les Dennis, Annabel Croft, Nigel Harman, Bobby Brazier and Jody Cundy are all competing in this series too.
Speaking about joining the BBC show, Adam said: “I am so excited to be joining the cast of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
“I’ve been such a big fan of the show for years, I can’t believe I’m actually doing it!
“I can’t dance to save my life but I’m buzzing to learn and have a good laugh with my pro. Get me on that dance floor… I can’t wait!”
Currently, Adam’s odds stand at 11/1 according to Ladbrokes, with Angela Scanlon and Bobby Brazier dominating at 7/2.
Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer in autumn 2023 with further details about air date and start time to be confirmed.
