Frankie Lewis (Rose Ayling-Ellis) was arrested for assault in EastEnders tonight (January 8).
The young woman has been struggling to come to terms with recent events.
She worked out that Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) was her dad, which meant that her mum Katy (Simone Lahbib) abused him when he was 12.
Katy has claimed that she never abused Mick, but given that the abuser is keen to get her to leave London, Frankie’s not so sure if she believes her.
Frankie popped by Mick’s flat tonight, and was left upset when Linda (Kellie Bright) informed her that Mick wasn’t home.
Linda gave her her number in case she ever wanted to speak, which left Frankie rather touched.
The young woman went for a drink in Ruby’s, but it was clear that she’s struggling, as she downed more and more drinks.
Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) and Callum Highway (Tony Clay) popped in, and they were delighted to see Frankie, but when one of the punters made a homophobic comment, Frankie confronted him, and ultimately started beating him up.
Callum seemingly arrested Frankie, and later she found herself in police custody — and with Linda not picking up, Frankie turned to Katy for help.
EastEnders continues Monday January 11 at 8:05pm on BBC One.
