Selling Sunset finally returned to Netflix last week with their highly anticipated fourth season. The hit real estate reality series followed the lives of the agents at the Oppenheim Group, including Mary Fitzgerald who recently revealed she would soon be freezing her embryos.
On Tuesday’s episode of Lorraine, the host was joined by Mary and her husband Romaine Bonnet.
The reality stars got talking about family planning when they shared they were “too busy right now,” to start having children.
Mary disclosed: “Right when we get back to the States, we are going to start freezing our embryos.”
Romaine added: “We want to keep the option, whenever we’re ready. Right now is a little bit too crazy for us.”
Mary interjected: “It’s just not the right timing, we’re focused on our careers.”
The agent shared: “I’m 41 now so I have to start thinking about that,” as Lorraine quipped: “you’re but a child.”
Mary has a 24-year-old son named Austin, who she gave birth to at 16 and raised as a single mother.
Austin made an appearance on the show in season two to walk his mother down the aisle.
The couple also have a 13 year age difference, making Romaine four years older than her son.
Throughout season three, a major part of Mary’s storyline revolved around her decision to have more children.
Viewers watched as they consulted with a fertility expert as she was concerned time was running out to have children.
At the time Mary shared she wanted to ensure their marriage was “ready” for the responsibilities that come with having a child.
She disclosed: “It definitely changes your relationship when you bring children into the picture.”
During season three, Mary recalled the difficulties she faced raising her son as a single parent and revealed it made her more cautious about having a second child.
The Selling Sunset star told Life & Style: “I don’t actually, personally, feel that I need or really want to have another child to be content and happy, but I do want to make Romain happy.
“I would never want to take that experience away from him because it’s something that would just be way too unfair to not let him experience that.”
Although fans will recall the couple getting married in season two, according to TMZ Mary and Romaine were legally married in 2018.
Romaine, who was introduced to viewers as a Wilhelmina model from France popped the question in season one, while the couple were comfy in bed.
Fans who binge-watched season four of Selling Sunset will be glad to hear the upcoming fifth instalment could air sooner than later.
Speaking to Lorraine, Mary let slip: “We have season five coming out, probably in March, we’re done filming.
“We have a couple pickups when we get back and a couple interviews still to do but for the most part season five is done filming and it will be very, very good,” she added.
The luxury realtor teased: “Season four there was a lot going on and just shocking, and great and dramatic and season five is going to be the same.”
Selling Sunset seasons 1-4 are available to stream on Netflix.
