The latest instalment of one of the biggest reality shows of all time hit Netflix back in November of last year. New seasons of Selling Sunset often take several months at a time to become available to hungry viewers, but one of the show’s stars Mary Fitzgerald has hinted the wait could be over much sooner than expected.
Mary took to her Instagram account recently to tease the long-awaited return of Selling Sunset.
The Netflix reality series finally returned near the end of 2021 after well over a year away from screens.
Thankfully, it appears the next 10-episode outing could drop in the first half of the new year.
Last week, the reality star took to social media with a new post showcasing a stunning white suit.
In the caption, she assured her 1.7 million followers that she was also eagerly awaiting the return of Selling Sunset.
“Impatiently counting down the days till we get season five of Selling Sunset…” she wrote. “We are ready for it!!!!”
Fans will be thrilled to know The Oppenheim Group have already wrapped filming for season five.
A number of Mary’s followers took to the comments to demand more updates.

And @nataliesym20 speculated: “Sooner than we thought maybe??”
Production for the show takes place in Los Angeles and usually takes around three months for each 10-episode slate.
Filming for the next outing took place in winter 2021, and was confirmed to be in the can by Chrishell Stause back in December.

During a recent appearance on Lorraine, Mary suggested the new season would “probably” come out in March, though this hasn’t been confirmed.
Thankfully, the reality star’s new post suggests Selling Sunset’s return is imminent, with an official confirmation potentially just around the corner.
However, it’s still unsure whether the series could return to its pre-Covid schedule.
Turnaround between seasons two and three was incredibly fast, with both instalments releasing within three months of each other in 2020.
Sadly, production has hit a number of hurdles during the pandemic, such as series newcomer Vanessa Villela testing positive for Covid near the start of filming.
She told Page Six last month: “I had a very strong COVID case. My case, it’s still going, actually. It’s called long COVID. I’m still dealing with it.”
Vanessa is now on the mend but had to step back from the first half of season five during her recovery.
Hopefully, that hasn’t stopped the series from still delivering its fair share of real estate drama and jaw-dropping locations when the next episodes finally become available.
Selling Sunset seasons 1-4 are available to stream on Netflix.
