But after their split was revealed by The Sun Online yesterday, the luxurious pad will be remembered as the scene of a break-up that shattered the hopes of Love Island viewers everywhere.
And it's not just loyal 'Jani' fans who will be upset. Given they rented it, their landlord faces a bit of a headache, too.
The pair's time in the pad, round the corner from Graham Norton and Helen Mirren in Wapping, lasted less than four months.
But thanks to all the pictures they shared, we can take one last look around the property that's being dubbed the flat of broken dreams.
In fact, the redbrick flat, near Tobacco Dock in London's East End, could be back on the market soon.
In true celeb style, the pair once shared an enormous silver sofa that's big enough for pretty much the entire cast of Love Island.
There's also a cosy balcony from which the pair once surveyed the city – and a smart walkway where they both posed for pictures.
Plus, the flat has a luxurious bathroom decked out with marble tiles where the pair once got ready before events.
It really was a home fit for the term 'love nest'. But sadly it wasn't to be.
