“You just said you would beat my daughter!” Disick hurls across the table.
By now, we’ve seen a few shocking snippets of Scott Disick and Corey Gamble going at it over differences in how to discipline Scott’s daughter, Penelope Disick, but the newest and longest preview of the blowup gives the most context yet.
Released Friday, the 2-minute sneak peek of Sunday’s episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" shows how the verbal altercation between Kourtney Kardashian’s baby daddy and Kris Jenner’s longtime boyfriend escalated during a family dinner. Kim Kardashian and Jonathan Cheban were also present.
"You guys, I don’t have a nanny anymore," Kourt revealed to her family. "She said P was really upset. She was putting her in the car, and Penelope scratched her face. But P can be out of control. I think she almost blacks out and does these wild things, but like if you’re a nanny, you also…"
"If a kid scratched you, can you pop the kid and it’s cool?" Corey interrupted. Kourtney didn’t seem to pay the comment much attention, saying, "No, but you could also say something to her in the moment."
Kim agreed, urging Kourt to reach out to the nanny and apologize, but Kourt said she already had. Kim explained she experienced something similar when North tried to bite her nanny. Kim said North told the nanny she didn’t want her to come around anymore and said she could go home. "I was like, ‘You can’t fire a nanny!’" Kim recalled.
But Kris was concerned, telling Kourtney the situation was "so much more serious than I think you realize ’cause I had six kids. Not one time in my entire life did anyone ever have a complaint like this. Ever."
"We need to take care of this before it gets too far out of control," she insisted, but a defeated Kourt felt there wasn’t a real solution. "There’s nothing I could take away from her physically that she will care about," she explained. "Mason, I could take away whatever, he cares. Penelope does not care. Every kid is different."
That’s when the conversation took a turn.
"I’m sorry, but if P scratched me for no reason, I’m whippin’ her ass, and I’ll explain to y’all later," Corey blurted out.
Perplexed by the comment, Scott let out a "what?" Corey tried to repeat himself, "I would whoop her ass…" but Scott interrupted, "You would whoop Penelope’s ass if she scratched you?"
"I would give her a spanking for sure!" Gamble promised. "My daughter?" Disick asked, to which Gamble confidently replied, "F–k yeah!"
"What are you talking about?" Scott pressed, growing visibly agitated. "You would whoop my daughter’s ass if she touched you?"
"No, scratched me," Corey explained, as Kris also pointed out the difference. Once again, Scott asked for clarification. "You would whoop my daughter’s ass?!"
"Why not?" a genuinely confused Gamble replied. "If she scratched you?" Disick said. "A little 6-year-old girl? What the f–k are you talking about?! Stop it!"
"That’s the problem," Gamble repeated, while Disick continued to shout "Stop it!" He was furious. "You’re not going to beat my little daughter! Get the f–k out of here!"
Kim tried to intervene, explaining she didn’t think Corey meant "beat her," but Scott felt differently. "You just said you would beat my daughter!" he hurled across the table.
"I said whip," Corey replied calmly. "I said whip." As all this happened, Kris kept her head down, eyeing her dessert.
As we’ve seen in previous previews of the blowup, we know the exchange only gets gnarlier, as Corey eventually shouts back, "I’m not retracting a f–king word I said! I said what the f–k I said!"
"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on E!
