Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward was dealt a shattering blow last month after jetting home from a luxury holiday in Mykonos.
Dawn, her husband Ashley and two youngest daughters Charlie, 13, and Aston, 11, tested positive for coronavirus.
Their diagnosis was confirmed just 24 hours after they were tested for the killer virus after initially displaying symptoms.
Dawn, 47, revealed she instantly became anxious and expected to suffer breathing difficulties, which is a symptom of the virus.
Speaking from her home, Warford Hall, in Cheshire, the businesswoman exclusively told Daily Star Online about the hell she endured, as well as speaking about series 12 of the hit show.
"We're fine now, thankfully – all back to normal. At first, I was a little bit anxious thinking, 'Oh gosh, what's going to happen now I'm positive? What am I going to feel like?'
"For me, I was panicking, I was waiting to not be able to breathe but that didn't come, I never got that."
Dawn went on to say that she spent several weeks in bed after she felt worse than her family.

The interior designer said her symptoms included aching, shaking and headaches.
After receiving the diagnosis, the mum-of-four was forced to isolate with ex-footballer husband Ashley Ward, 49, and their children at the Cheshire mansion.
"We've got a decent-sized house so we can all do our own thing.
"It was nice to take a break and spend some nice time with my family. For me, it was like a treat – the kids couldn't escape me," she joked.

The reality star also confirmed that eldest daughter Darby, 24, had booked her wedding for June 2021 and it will be held in France.
Darby became engaged to Mr Whippy businessman Michael Corrado Jackson, 39, during a holiday in the French Riviera last year.
Business owner Dawn, who has recently finished a project on the most expensive house in the UK, went on to reveal that filming for season 12 had been "difficult" due to the new coronavirus guidelines.

"It's been very difficult, not just on the cast but on the production as well," she said.
She added: "I think if anything, filming this time around feels different for me. I had a tough season last season and I wasn't feeling myself – I didn't feel the best when we finished filming."
Dawn went on to reveal that after speaking with medical staff, she discovered that she had extremely low levels of oestrogen and needed medication to boost her levels but now feels like a "brand new person".
Despite being known for her fiery temperament and never being afraid to voice her feelings, she added: "I think with the cast, there's that much going on in the world, there are bigger things to worry about.
"This season has been a lot more about having fun, I've not been in any arguments – but then again, we are only halfway through," she said while laughing.
Season 11 of Real Housewives saw Dawn come to blows with longterm friend Rachel Lugo during a heated argument, as well as reigniting feuds with former Page 3 girl Tanya Bardsley and Hanna Miraftab
Speaking about her relationship with her fellow Housewives she said: "I've sort of moved on with a few people and there are people I haven't.
"There are relationships you can't fix and you have to accept that."
After appearing in every season without a break, Dawn reckons she's filmed more episodes than her fellow housewives.
"If you said to me 12 seasons ago, you'd be doing 12 seasons I'd have been like, 'Hm, no way,' it's addictive.
"It's tough sometimes, every season I think is going to be my last and next thing you know, I'm here. It would be very strange for me to leave," she said.
