Gino D’Acampo leaves Holly flustered as he mocks Phillip Schofield
Phillip Schofield and his former This Morning co-presenter Holly Willoughby have both failed to receive a nomination for Best Presenter at the National Television Awards (NTAs).
This Morning has once again been nominated for Daytime show and will attempt to retain its title as competitors The Chase, Loose Women and The Repair Shop are hot on their tail.
The ITV talk show faced a lot of drama at the beginning of this year when Phillip resigned from the channel and was dropped by his talent agency YMU when he admitted to an affir with a young male colleague.
Phillip admitted the affair was “unwise but not illegal” and he has since lost his relationship with his best friend Holly.
The pair began presenting alongside one another from 2009, but since his departure, Holly has continued to host the show alongside a host of co-stars including Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson.

Last year, This Morning won the NTA for Best Daytime Show for the fifth year in a row and received some mixed views.
Their win came just weeks after the presenting duo were accused of cutting in line to see the late Queen lying-in-state following the monarch’s death the month before.
Holly and Phil had in the past been known for enjoying the afterparty and turning up to their shift the next morning still in their ceremony attire, however, last year Holly “snuck” out and headed home early.
Holly has been taking her summer break from This Morning but reports have claimed that she is set to return to the show with a “bumper pay”.

A source recently told The Sun: “Holly is at the heart of the show’s future and success and ITV execs want her to steer a steady ship out of a rocky year.
“It’ll be a strong start with Alison, kicking off as a dream team. Holly’s pay deal is up for negotiation in a few months.
“So they [ITV] are putting together a lucrative package that will reflect her added responsibility without Phil, and they are prepared to go up to £1 million a year.
“Producers will splash the cash on showbiz guests, and exclusive human interest stories. Viewers can expect lots of glitz and glamour. But Holly will definitely be the jewel in their crown.”
Whilst Holly and Phillip are not nominated for TV Presenter, This Morning’s Alison Hammond has been nominated alongside Ant & Dec, Bradley Walsh, Claudia Winkleman and Martin Lewis.
Tense BBC crime drama Happy Valley has also been nominated for Returning Drama and will go up against Call the Midwife, Stranger Things and Vera.
The NTAs will also see the battle of the soaps as Coronation Street, Emmerdale, EastEnders and Hollyoaks are all nominated.
Both Paul O’Grady and Dame Deborah James have also been nominated for an NTA for their respective TV projects filmed prior to both their deaths.
The final round of voting is open and the winners will be announced at the ceremony hosted by Joel Dommett at The O2 on September 5.
National Television Awards airs September 5 on ITV.
