It looks like things have been pretty busy for Nickelodeon star Kendall Schmidt and wife Mica von Turkovich, as they made two very exciting announcements on Instagram.
Kendall, who was a member of boyband Big Time Rush – from the Nickelodeon sitcom of the same name – confirmed to fans that not only is he now officially a husband, but also a soon-to-be dad.
Firstly, the couple shared the news of their marriage in a joint post and said: "Thankful for my baby," along with a black and white picture of the pair on their wedding day.
Then, on the very same day, Kendall and Mica announced they were also expecting a baby in an adorable video.
“Thankful for our baby,” Schmidt captioned another Instagram post, with The Carpenters’ They Long to Be (Close to You) playing in the background.
This time, the boyband star also showed a video of his wife Mica wearing a crop top and showcasing her blossoming baby bump.
Fans were quick to rush to the comments section and send their love and wishes. One wrote, "FINALLY!!! So excited for you guys."
Another commented, "Luckiest little baby! Excited to watch your family grow, love you both," while a third penned, "My heart! Oh my god congratulations lovelies, gonna be the most beautiful loved little one."
A fourth couldn't contain their excitement and said, "This is so amazing [you're] both going to be amazing parents. I can't wait to see your bundle of joy."
The couple met in 2012 and began dating in March 2015. Kendall then got down on one knee in 2022 to pop the important question to Mica at Radio City Music Hall, which is the venue where they first met.
Kendall also celebrated his 33rd birthday earlier this month (November 2) and thanked fans for all their support.
He wrote on Instagram: “Thank you for all the birthday wishes everyone 🙂 For anyone wondering I’m 33, even though I obviously still look 23. Life is good!
"I’m so grateful for all of you and especially my beautiful wife @mica_chu,” he continued the caption.
However, fans were quick to notice that Kendall referred to Mica as his 'wife' in this Instagram post, prompting the idea they'd already been married for some time.
It definitely sounds like celebrations are in order for the couple.
