James Bond: Producers ‘want someone in his 30s’ says King
Yesterday marked Global James Bond, celebrating 61 years of the 007 film franchise that started with Sean Connery Dr No.
Yet we’re now two years on from the release of the last Bond movie, No Time To Die and fans are itching to find out who Daniel Craig’s replacement will be.
Rumours have swirled around some big stars and the latest alleged report is that Christopher Nolan is in the talks to helm the reboot.
Given he worked on Tenet with bookies’ favourite Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who’s rumoured to have had a secret audition, we wouldn’t be surprised if the director has the 33-year-old in mind for Ian Fleming’s spy.
In fact, the latest odds have slashed on the Kraven the Hunter star known for his action and comedy in the likes of Kick-Ass and Bullet Train.

Taylor-Johnson’s odds, which remain the frontrunner in the bookies’ Next James Bond race, have been slashed from 3-1 to 5-2.
Coral also points out that the actor, who played John Lennon in Nowhere Boy, has taken over 60 per cent of all bets in this market with the firm in 2023.
The bookies’ John Hill said: “Aaron Taylor-Johnson is the warm favourite to succeed Daniel Craig as the next James Bond, and we continue to see strong support for the British actor. Taylor-Johnson has remained tight-lipped about the speculation, but if offered the opportunity, it would be hard to see him turning down the iconic role.”

Meanwhile behind him are the following: 3-1 James Norton, 4-1 Henry Cavill, 6-1 Rege-Jean Page, 7-1 Tom Hardy, 8-1 Paapa Essiedu, 12-1 Jack Lowden, 14-1 Richard Madden, 14-1 Callum Turner, 16-1 Aidan Turner, 20-1 Sope Dirisu.
Hopefully, there will be an official announcement of the new Bond at some point in the next year, but presumably after the Hollywood strikes are properly settled.
