Paul (played by Stefan Dennis) is set to face a rocky patch with partner Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) in upcoming scenes on Neighbours when he uncovers a secret about her past.
The ruthless businessman will learn Terese helped her former lover and boyfriend of her niece Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson), Vance Abernathy (Conrad Coleby), escape police custody after a string of dodgy dealings on Ramsay Street.
As Paul is left shaken when Terese admits she had a nostalgic moment of rekindled feelings for Vance, the Lassiters hotel owner could be set to explore his own past.
It has been announced British theatre and television star Denise Van Outen, 45, will be joining the Channel 5 soap and it seems her character will have links with Paul.
Prue is heading to Ramsay Street to stir things up

Denise will be playing Prue Wallace, the mother of another newcomer Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan) in scenes due to air later this year.
It was announced back in March the daughter of former Neighbours star Jason Donavan, 51, would be joining the cast and although the details of her storyline are being kept under wraps, it seems both she and Prue could have a connection to Paul as she shares the surname Robinson.
Speaking of joining the cast, Denise said: “I am thrilled to be joining the cast of one the world’s most iconic shows, Neighbours.
“To be asked is a privilege and I am very excited to get to work on a really fun storyline first in London and then heading over to Melbourne.
“I can’t say too much just yet but my character Prue is heading to Ramsay Street to stir things up and I can’t wait!”
Neighbours fans will first see Prue in scenes unfolding on the streets of London, with stars of the soap Stefan Dennis, 60, and Rebekah Elmaloglou, 45, filming scenes in the English capital recently.
Set to star in scenes alongside Paul, could it be Prue is yet another former lover of the Neighbours casanova and Harlow is his secret love-child?
Paul is also set to be rocked by the return of his ex-wife Christina Alessi (Gayle Blakeney) and her twin sister Caroline Alessi (Gillian Blakeney) in September.
Could it be Terese has done some digging and wants her partner to come face-to-face with a few of his past romances to get a feeling of what it was like for her to be reunited with Vance?
Appearing in a guest role before arriving in Erinsboroguh later the year, Denise will also be joined by Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Arnold, 49.
The showbiz reporter will appear in one episode and play the character of Graham, who is connected to Prue and said to have an “unhealthy influence” over her.
Speaking of his guest stint, Richard said: “I always knew my career would hit a ‘dead end’ eventually but I never dreamed it would do so in such spectacular fashion joining the cast of Neighbours, home to the most famous cul-de-sac in television. G’Day Britain!”
Will Paul step in and rid Prue of Graham as he discovers his love-child Harlow could be in danger if it emerges this is how the characters are connected?
Elsewhere in Erinsborough, Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher) could find himself with another child in tow.
Newcomer Christie Hayes, 32, is joining the soap as Piers Grayson’s (Tim Robbards) fiancé Ebony, but has teased her character could cross paths with Karl in the future.
With a love story on he mind for Ebony and Karl, Christie told Express.co.uk: “What always kind of mixes things up in a love triangle or a marriage is a baby,” but will Karl betray wife Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne)?
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
