Marvel movies have 67.51 percent of all search volume.
This leaves DC Comics with only 32.49 percent, with 22.8 thousand searches.
This means Marvel movies are twice as searched for than DC Comics movies.

But heading into 2019, the most anticipated film according to search volume is DC Comic’s Shazam.
The research, however, does not seem to take into account the group movies from Marvel.

However, Black Panther and Venom turned out to be the most popular superheroes in 2018.
